Christmas Day!

Christmas Day was a nice relaxing day.  We got up at our regular time, I got breakfast in the oven, Sadie did her vest (while trying to figure out what presents were hers), and Ian just sat and looked at the presents.  After that we let them open up their stockings while breakfast finished cooking.  We then ate breakfast.  We had cinnamon rolls and eggs and bacon, of course.  We usually have cheese bake but with everything going on I forgot one of the ingredients.  Oh, well.  After breakfast the mayhem began.  I have never seen Sadie so excited.  Ian would have been more excited but he was still sick.  Poor guy.  We opened presents and played with toys and just hung out.  Ian and Sadie got things they had been hoping for.  Ian had been telling us for months that Santa was going to bring him a car with a controller and a spiderman button that shoots missles.  Well Santa listened and he got one.  He sure loves that car.  This year I focused more on watching the kids rather than taking pictures.  That was nice.  After lunch and more playing, Noah's family all came over for dinner and more presents.  We had ham, potatoes, rolls, and more cookies for dessert.  It was great and the cousins got to play together.  We even got to Skype with Wendi and her girls.  That was fun.  I wish they could have been here with us.  Ian started to crash after more presents.  He just cuddled on my lap.  He was done.  The next day Jason had a flight early in the morning so we said our goodbyes that night.  It was so nice to have him here.  We all really enjoyed it and wished he could have stayed longer.  Of course as soon as he left Ian started feeling a lot better.  Oh, well.  Jason will just have to come again I guess.

This is how Santa wrapped our presents this year.

Opening up stockings.

There is that car with a controller from Santa.

Sadie couldn't stop pointing out that the big box was for her.

A Power Ranger phone!!

Jason was great at playing with Ian and helping him put his stuff together.  Ian loved it.

Time for fun with cousins.

Sadie wanted a picture with her new pajamas from Aunt Missy.  In case you didn't know she loves all things princess.
