8 is Great!

I can not believe that my little girl is 8!  Time has gone by so fast.  It seems like only yesterday that we were waiting for her to be born.  She has turned into one beautiful girl.  She is still in love with everything princess.  She will eat most anything.  She loves to be outside and play.  She loves playing with her little brother.  She is a great reader and she loves school.  She is always sad when there isn't any school.  She did not inherit that from me.  She is still not a night owl.  She is more of a morning person.  She is starting to show some attitude. I am not looking forward to high school.  She already drives me crazy.  I am pretty sure that she eats Rice Krispies every day for breakfast.  She also has quite the imagination.  We sure do love our special little Sadie!  I can't imagine my life without her.

On her birthday she wanted pancakes and bacon for breakfast.  That girl can eat some bacon.  She then got to go on a date with her dad.  She chose Chuck-e-Cheese and McDonald's for lunch.  They had a great time.  For dinner she wanted potato soup and breadsticks.  Of course it was the warmest day of the week but we had soup anyways.  After dinner she opened her presents.  She is always so excited about that.  For dessert she asked for chocolate cupcakes with pink frosting and strawberry ice cream.  She of course didn't really eat any of it because she likes the idea of a sweet more than actually wanting to eat it.  Oh well.  All in all I think it was a great day.  Now on to getting ready for her baptism and a visit from my parents!

Thanks Aunt Missy for the cute shirts!

Ahhh, chapter books!

And of course a birthday is not complete without an Elsa doll.  P.S. she was lucky to get one.  You can not buy them any where.  They are all sold out but Noah went to a random Target store and found one hidden on a shelf.  The box was a little crushed but the doll was fine.  She lucked out.

Mmm, cupcakes!

Yes, this is how my son eats a cupcake.
