As soon as school was over we headed off to Washington for a month long vacation to visit my family. So this will be the first of many posts from our trip. It had been about 3 years since we all were able to go and visit my family. It was such a fun trip. We had a super early morning flight. We had to leave for the airport at about 3:30 am. The kids were up and ready to go. They had laid our their clothes the night before. They got up, got dressed, went potty, grabbed their backpacks and headed out the door. Unfortunately our flight was delayed for several hours due to some plane electrical problem. The kids did great though. They played with toys and ate some snacks and waited patiently. Once on the flight they had backpacks full of activities. It is nice now that they are older. They pretty much entertain themselves. I was even able to watch a movie on my own. It was nice. After a 4 hour flight we were finally there! The kids were so happy to be a Grandma's house. Let all the fun begin!
