Ian's first field trip was to the Pumpkin Patch in Downtown Mckinney. It was so nice that I got to go with him. It was a walking field trip so we had to walk there. It's not too far but it was pretty warm out that day. When we got to the patch they got bags and went around to several different activities and collected different pieces to make their pumpkin faces. They did leaf rubbings, story time, a scavenger hunt and fed a goat and then went in the maze. After the patch we walked to Finch park and ate lunch and played. We then headed back to the school. That was a long walk, or maybe it was just hot and I had to hold sweaty hands. Oh well, it was a really nice day though.
