Week 3: Grammy's House!

At the end of June we were able to go spend a few days up in Wichita Falls with Noah's parents.  It was so much fun.  We have already made plans for next summer.  We hadn't been up there in awhile because Noah's parents usually come down to Dallas to visit us.  Ian had never even been to their house and Sadie barely remembered it.  Every morning the kids fed the birds with Grandpa.  They just loved it.  And so did the birds.  The kids helped Grammy cook, and they played in some pools in the backyard.  They also did crafts and went on a date with Grammy and Grandpa.   At the end of the week we went to a Nature center and looked at some animals and butterflies.  It was so much fun to spend time with family.  We just love them!  Can't wait until next year!

One afternoon they helped Grammy make a blueberry cake.

Every night after dinner the kids put on their swimsuits and headed to the pools in the backyard.  They had a lot of fun in them.  The weather was just perfect too!

Sadie and Ian both did a painting craft.  Sadie painted wooden dolls and Ian painted an alligator.

I just love Ian's shopping bag apron.

The finished products.

While Noah and I went to the movies, the kids had a dinner date with their Grandparents.  They played guitar and ate pizza for dinner.  Yum!

These are some of the pictures from the Nature center.  Ian liked looking at the Tarantula.

Ian also liked all of the rats.  He even got to pet one.

When Ian saw the tank full of turtles, he just kept saying, "Mommy look at the cute tortoise!"

Outside they actually saw a tortoise.

The kids really loved the butterfly house.  They kept trying to spot all of the different kinds.

Just exploring around outside.

They even had a spot to dig for dinosaur bones.

Thanks for letting us come!  We love you guys!
