I can not believe that my little baby boy is 3! He has just grown up so fast. He is such a silly boy. He loves to talk and read books. He loves to play in the dirt and play with cars and trucks but he will put on a green dress and pretend to be Anna from Frozen and go knock on her bedroom door and say "do you wanna build a snowman?" It is the cutest thing ever! He loves to play with his sister. He also loves to dance. At the end of any movie we watch he gets up and dances to the music that plays with the credits. He loves to eat all things chocolate or sweet but he still loves his fruits and vegetables and bread. His favorite song is "Praise to to the man." He knows all the words to the first verse. He loves to play outside and will go and go and go until you make him stop and then he will crash and fall sound asleep. He is still a Momma's boy too. He is very outgoing. He will make a friend with anyone that will talk to him. He is always able to find someone to play with at the park. Also, as you will see in the following pictures he has a thing for Lightning McQueen. He almost always picks that movie to watch on family movie night. I am so in love with this little boy. I am so glad that he is part of our family.
For Ian's birthday I made his favorite breakfast of Cinnamon rolls and strawberries. After breakfast he got to go on his "date" with Dad. They went and got a haircut, played at a big bounce/trampoline house place, ate lunch at McDonald's, and walked around the toy store. I think he had fun. Since we celebrated his birthday with family on the 4th of July we just had a little party at home. We were lucky and 3 of Ian's cousins were able to come and spend it with us. He just loved having them there. We had pizza and other snacks and watched "Cars" of course. It was a wonderful day!
Ian eating his delicious breakfast.
The party table. I had a little bit of fun with the food.
The cupcakes. Chocolate of course.
The big birthday boy!
Eating dinner while they watch the movie.
Time to open presents!
Ian said "a Jake and the Neverland Pirates sword!"
Another one of Ian's favorites, Dusty from the movie "Planes."
Oh my goodness, he is just too cute and grown up.
Wow! Three years! He is adorable. What great kids you have.
