I can't believe it! My baby girl is 7 years old. She is growing up so fast. She still loves all things Princess related, dolls, riding her bike, swimming, Barbie's, playing doctor (mostly on Ian), and school. She has become quite the little reader. She just loves to read. She also gets sad when there isn't any school. She just loves to go. Her favorite color rotates between pink and purple, depending on the day. She loves to watch princess movies and the Fresh Beat Band. Sadie also still loves to play with her little brother Ian. She tries to drag him around and make him do things, which usually results in a lot of screaming, but they eventually work it out and they play happily together. Sadie is just getting so big. We just love her so much.
For her birthday Noah took the day off work so that they could do their annual Daddy-daughter date. Sadie chose this year to go feed the ducks and eat at "the French Fry store" or McDonalds. It was actually pretty cold out that day so they didn't stay at the park for very long but she still had fun. She had her special breakfast and dinner. We ate cake and opened presents. Overall it was a wonderful day.
Here is Sadie with her egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich for breakfast.
My big 7 year old.
She got presents in the mail from her Grandma and Grandpa Barrett. She was so excited to open them. I let her open them after lunch even though Noah thought she should wait until after dinner but I wanted her to have something fun to play with on her birthday.
She got a painting book....
and a Teacher Barbie. She played with them all day!
For her birthday dinner she requested Salmon, Broccoli, rice and rolls. What a crazy girl! It was super tasty.
After dinner she had her birthday cake. She chose a Funfetti cake. Yum!
Blow out those candles!
Finally she got to open presents.
$10 from Dad
Grandma just couldn't resist sending Ian a gift too.
Trucks! His favorite.
A Tinkerbell chapter book and bookmark from Mom.
And a little toy puppy from Ian.
While Sadie played with her new toys, Ian played with his all over Daddy.
Aunt Missy also sent Sadie a present.
It was a new outfit that Sadie insisted on wearing to her birthday party. She looked super cute in it.
