Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving this year we did what we always do.  We went up to Oklahoma City to be with Noah's Grandparents.  This year we stayed at a different hotel than we normally do.  We stayed at an Embassy Suites.  It was really nice.  We left on Wednesday afternoon during naptime and got to OKC in time to go swimming in the indoor pool.  Sadie loved it of course.  Ian did too.  We then went over to Chili's for dinner.  They messed up Noah's meal twice so we ended up getting our meal for free!  How nice is that.  We then went back to our hotel room and visited with some family for a little bit and then got ready for bed.  The hotel room had a door that separated the bedroom from the sitting room so that was nice.  I thought for sure that Ian would cry when we put him to bed but I guess we wore them out so much that they both went right to sleep.  In the morning we met for breakfast in the hotel with Noah's parents and two of his sisters and their families.  It was nice to just hang out a little.  We then finished getting ready for the day and headed over to Mema and Papa's house.  The weather was really nice that day so the kids were able to play outside.  The food of course was excellent and the company was equally as good.  Later that evening we headed home.  It was a wonderful trip.  I love just being able to spend time with family and reflect on all the the blessings that we have.

Look at that handsome boy!  We actually ended up putting shorts on him because it was so warm outside.

In case you can't see it there is a little metal bird behind the bush.  Sadie and Andrew fed dirt to that bird all afternoon.  They were covered in dirt but they loved it.  They were literally out there all day.  They only stopped to eat dinner.

The Killer Corn is cooking.  There was actually enough for leftovers this year.

All the food was delicious!

Ian and Sadie loved it.

Before we left the hotel we took our annual family picture.  This one turned out pretty cute.  It is too bad Ian is not smiling but oh well, at least he is sitting still.
