The Heard Museum

On Saturday the Heard Museum here in McKinney had some special nature thing that residents got into for free so we figured we would go and check it out.  It was pretty nice.  We went through their little indoor museum part.  It was mostly rocks and a couple of animals.  It was not very big.  Then we went to an animal show that turned out to be very boring and had only a snake in it.  We ended up just leaving the show after the snake came out.  Their was a Raptor show later that was actually neat.  After that we wandered around the vendor area and got free little things.  Then Sadie spotted the bounce house so we of course went straight for that.  She loved that.  We then saw some more animals and made our way to the Butterfly house, only to find out that it was closed.  Oh well, Sadie was tired and hungry by then anyways so we left.  Overall it was fun.  Ian seemed to like just being outside and looking around.

We took some pictures by the Butterfly house.  Some of the pictures turned out better than others but they are still cute.
