We are home!

Finally after a 8 1/2 week long journey in the hospital. We finally got to come home! Of course we went home to a new house but that was ok. Ian was pretty quiet for the first few weeks. He barely fits in the newborn size of clothes. As soon as we came home Sadie was waiting at the door for us. Now that Ian was home she was very ready to be a big sister. She wanted to hold him all the time. She was a little hesitant to hold him in the hospital. She kept saying she would do it when we got home. Ian was pretty sleepy the first little bit. Probably a combination of being 3 weeks early and still having some drugs left in his system from me. When we brought him home he had dropped to 5 lbs 1 oz. At his 3 day check up he was down to 5 lbs. They thought he was a little jaundice but after a blood test he was just fine. He eats every 3 hours or so and then goes back to sleep. I just wish I could get that much sleep. Here are a few pictures from those first few days.
