Today Sadie turned 12! How did that happen. She is growing up too fast. This year my parents happened to be in town visiting and looking to see what kinds of homes were available in this area. They have been trying to decide what they should do. Luckily they were here for Sadie's birthday too! Sadie wanted pancakes and bacon and chocolate milk for breakfast. Since her birthday was on a Sunday this year she did most of her birthday activities the day before. She finally got to get her ears pierced. She was so excited but nervous too. She did great! She also went on a date with Dad to eat Sushi and went to Color Me Mine and painted a cute little dolphin piggy bank. On Sunday we had breakfast, opened presents and headed to church. After church we had her favorite dinner of orange chicken, rice with lots of soy sauce, and broccoli. For her cake she wanted a sprinkle angel food cake. We also had strawberries and whipped cream. Sadie is such a wonderful part of our family. She loves to do crafts, play the piano, ride bikes, and play with her friends and her brother of course, when they are getting along. I can't wait to see how she grows in the next 12 years!
