So my brother Jason finally got married! I am so glad that I got to go see the wedding. They actually got married on Sadie's birthday so we celebrated her birthday early so that I wouldn't miss it. I arrived on Thursday. My sisters and I had a lot of decorating and planning to do before the big day. We arranged flowers, framed pictures, made desserts, made the wedding bouquet and cake and tried to make it look special for the bride and groom. It was a lot of fun. On Friday we went to the rental house that Charmae and her family were staying in for a family potluck. It was fun to meet a bunch of her family. After that we stayed for the Bachelorette party. A bunch of girls together is always a good time. The next day was the wedding. Of course it was raining outside. The temple ceremony was just perfect and we hoped the rain would stop. Sure enough as soon as we walked outside the temple it stopped raining. It was just beautiful outside. Jason and Charmae just looked so happy together too. We did pictures and headed back to my parent's house to finish preparing for the reception. It was just a really nice night. We sent them on their way with sparklers. Now they are off to start their own adventure in Alaska.
Jason and his awesome shirt as he headed to his Bachelor party.
They had a giant canvas printed of them for their guest book. Unfortunately, right before the reception my nephew Carter found the Sharpie marker and drew all over the canvas and even blacked out their faces. We finally found something that took most of it off. That was a close one.
My sister Melissa made this for their wedding gift.
Carter was just in love with Charmae. He said he wanted to dance with the pretty girl. So he went up to her and asked her to dance. It was so cute!
As they were leaving, Charmae's brother came up to them and told them " you have been laid." And then proceeded to put some Leis on them.
