How did this cute little baby suddenly get so big! It feels like only yesterday that I was on bedrest in the hospital for 8 1/2 weeks wondering if this trial would ever and end, and now he is 5 years old! He is the sunshine in our home. He is always happy and smiling and when he is sad, his little face just breaks your heart. He loves to learn. He loves to be outside and play with his big sister. He is also a momma's boy and I love it! He is not scared of most anything and will try anything once. He loves anything sweet but really loves chocolate. He is so smart and is so ready for Kindergarten. He loves all things boy but will play Barbies and put on a tutu just so he can play with his sister. He makes friends with everyone he meets. We can't leave a park without him telling me about a new friend he met today. He may just be a little guy but he has a huge heart. I am so glad he is a part of our family. He makes everything complete.
He wanted cinnamon rolls for breakfast on his birthday. He loves them! Probably because it is like dessert for breakfast.
After breakfast he went on his Dad Date. They went to an arcade and played games all afternoon. Ian was in heaven. He just loved it, plus they ate pizza there. Afterwards Noah took him to the toy store and let him pick out some new Hot Wheels cars. I think he couldn't have had a better day.
He of course chose chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate ice cream. And a few sprinkles on top.
His second favorite food is Pizza. He could eat that for every meal. That was his dinner of choice.
Since his birthday fell on our movie night, we watched "Angry Birds" and ate dinner.
He is ready for cake!
And presents of course
Sadie had to cover Ian's eyes while we got his next present
He really wanted this bike.
His Grandma Barrett got him one of his favorite presents, this little dog. He told me I had to take pictures of him and his new dog.
Just playing with his presents.
