It was letter R this week. For our baking project we made Rainbow cupcakes. It was a lot of work to make them but they sure looked pretty and tasted good. Ian really liked making them. I even made a really good cream cheese frosting for the top but of course neither of the kids liked it. Oh, well. They just scraped off the frosting and ate the cupcake. We also learned about Raccoons and made it rain in a jar. The rain in the jar was kind of a flop. It is the project where you put hot water in a jar and then top it with a bowl full of ice. It mostly just got condensation on the walls of the jar. I was hoping some of that would drip from the top like rain but it didn't. Ian was not very impressed by this experiment.

Now to layer it in the muffin pan. I would plop on the color and Ian would spread it around to the edges.
