Christmas Day

On Christmas morning we told Sadie that she couldn't come out of her room until I came to get her otherwise she would have been up at like 1am.  We reminded her several times that we could only open our stockings when we woke up because we had to get ready for church.  As soon as she got up she was ready to go.  We opened our stockings and then had our traditional breakfast of cinnamon rolls and cheesebake.  Yum!  After breakfast we got ready for church.  After we were ready to go Sadie kept asking if we could go yet.  She wanted to get church over with so that she could come home and open presents.  She was so wiggly at church.  She was so excited she just couldn't sit still.  When we got home we changed our clothes and went at it.  She of course opened her biggest present first.  After all of that we got ready and went to Kris' house to get together with Noah's family and have dinner and spend time together.  It was wonderful.  The food was perfect and the company was even better.  It was so nice to spend that time together with family.  That is what I always remember about Christmas, not the gifts but the time I had to hang out with my family and just be together.  Here are some pictures of the day.

This was the present Sadie was excited to open first because it was so big.  Now that she can read a little she knew it was for her and kept reminding us of that.  She was beyond excited to open it when we got home from church.

My mom made Sadie this hat.  It is pretty cute but that is a funny looking face.

This is the present that Noah suprised Sadie with.  It was a suprise to me too.  I had mentioned to Noah how Sadie had seen it in the store and how much she wanted it so one night Noah just went out and bought it.  She LOVED it.
