Today was a COLD day. The wind chill this morning was -20 degrees. That is really cold. A lot of people here in Texas are without power, have frozen pipes, no water, and little food. Texas is not prepared for weather like this. We have been so blessed that so far we haven't lost power or water, and we have plenty of food. My parents power has been rotating on and off but they have managed to stay warm. We spent today hanging out in the morning. After lunch Ian of course headed outside to play. He has had so much fun. I have been worried that he will be too cold outside, but every time he comes back in his toes and fingers have been nice and toasty. He stays moving outside. I must say that wearing masks has really come in handy. They not only protect you from Covid but they sure do keep your face warm. For lunch today we made corndogs. We also had internet long enough to finish "Parent Trap." The kids really liked it. We played games and as you can see, Ian stayed warm by the fire.
