This year we continued our annual trip to the State Fair. This year we did things a little differently though. Since Sadie is in middle school it is harder for her to miss a day of school just to go to the fair, so we went after school instead. There is an advantage to going later in the day, you get to see the light parade at night. But on the flip side, we didn't have as much time to wander around and the goats aren't as hungry at the end of the day. Overall it was still a lot of fun! The kids had fun, I had fun, except for when Ian spilled his orange soda all over me, and I think Noah had fun. Can't wait until next year!
Feeding goats, their favorite thing.
Eating our dinner while we wait for the parade to start.
Watching the parade. They loved it.
This year's butter sculpture.
And our last stop, the carousel.
