We had a very fun but very busy Halloween weekend. Sadie decided that this year she wanted to be Lulu the Lady Bug girl for Halloween. I was glad that she changed her mind because she originally wanted to be Tiana and I did not want to try to make that costume. This one was much easier. Anyways, on Saturday we had a family Halloween party. We got together with all of Noah's family that is in the area. We had food and games. The kids just loved it. The weather was perfect so they got to be outside with all of the cousins. Later that night we had our ward's Trunk or Treat. There wasn't a whole ton of people there but it was still fun. Then of course on Halloween day we had our traditional dinner of Witches Brew with spider webs (tomato soup), mummy dogs, and witches fingers (carrots with olives on the end). Sadie was all excited to go trick or treating in the neighborhood but by the time we went out to do it she was ready to go home after one house. We went to a couple more houses and then came in for the night. She had more fun handing the candy out to the kids that knocked on our door. It was a busy but fun weekend. I just love Halloween!

One of the games we played was ghost bowling with a frozen guinea hen. Fun! We also played Pin the tail on the black cat, we bobbed for apples, and had a pinata.
Here is some of the food we ate. It was all delicious.
This is the chocolate pumpkin cake I made. It had cream cheese icing. It was really good.

Ian as my little lobster. He is so cute!
He looks so good you want to eat him up. We borrowed this costume from Noah's sister. They used it a few years ago and we thought it is was just too cute. We had to use it too.
