Since we have lived here in Texas we have been able to go up to Oklahoma City and spend Thanksgiving with Noah's grandparents. It is always a lot of fun and there is always a lot of good food. This year we decided to stay in a hotel instead of at his Grandparent's home. It was really nice to have all of the space to ourselves. It has started to get a little cramped at the house with all of the family that comes up and as families expand. Sadie loved the hotel. As soon as we got there she said she had to try out the bed to see if she fit. It was really cute. She liked that she could lay in bed and watch tv. She also loved that it had an indoor heated pool that she got to go swimming in twice. I have also never seen Sadie eat such a huge breakfast each morning. The hotel had a complemantary breakfast every morning and Sadie wanted a little of everything. The first morning she had a bowl of Fruit Loops, followed by a bowl of Raisin bran. Then she wanted a cinnamon muffin, which she ate all of and then she went back to the bar and eyed what was left and had a hard-boiled egg. I really loved their hot chocolate with Hazelnut coffee creamer in it. If you have never tried it you should, it is really good.
We drove in on Wednesday afternoon and got there around dinner time so we checked into the hotel and went and got dinner at Quiznos. We then of course had to go back to the hotel and go swimming. Sadie loved it. Trying to put her to bed while we watched tv was a little hard. She just laid there awake so we ended up just going to sleep early too so that she would go to sleep.
The next day was Thanksgiving and we had a wonderful time with family. The food was great too. We had turkey, stuffing, salad, rolls, and my favorite, killer corn. It is homemade cream corn and it is to die for. The family fights over getting seconds. There usually isn't seconds to get. We spent the whole day playing with family and hanging out. It was wonderful. That evening almost everyone went to go see the new Harry Potter and me and Sadie, Kris, Noah's mom, and Madeline went swimming. The girls loved it. We wore them out and they slept good that night.
The next day we did our annual shopping at this little Christmas store in town. It was fun and then we headed home and got home around bedtime. It was a wonderful holiday and reminds me of all the things that I have to be thankful for. Our family has been so blessed this year and every year. Well here are some pictures of the trip.

In the third picture down, she is the spitting image of her mom. So cute! Happy Holidays!
