Fort Worth Zoo

Last week we had the opportunity to go to the Fort Worth Zoo. It was a lot of fun. We went with some friends from church and their kids. The weather was perfect. It was overcast, not hot, not too humid and not raining. It did start to rain later but not until we were walking out to the parking lot to leave. With the perfect weather all of the animals were out and active. It is always nice to see all of the animals and not hiding from the heat or cold. Sadie has a lot of fun. She loves to see animals. Unfortunately her favorite animals, alligators and snakes, were under construction and she couldn't see them. She was sad but oh well I guess that means we have to go back another time. Here are some pictures from our day out.

Sadie stood up on a bench and told me to take her picture. She has a hard time looking at the camera when she says "cheese" though.

Sadie started to get a little grumpy right before lunch and just wanted to sit in her stroller and look at the giraffes.

There were a lot of giraffes out. It was fun to watch them try to sit down. It looked rather uncomfortable.

After some lunch Sadie was ready to be up and looking at animals again.

They have a little playhouse for kids and Sadie loved playing with all of the toys in there.
