August was a month full of activities. We went to the Dallas Arboretum, made homemade gummies, went swimming, did a Back to School teacher breakfast, went to a splash pad, watched the eclipse, went out to breakfast, went swimming and started soccer up again. It was a fun and busy month.
The Arboretum was a lot of fun to go to with our friends. It ended up being really hot that day even though it wasn't supposed to. It was still fun anyways. It just meant the kids enjoyed the water at the end even more.
We also made some homemade gummies. They were fun to make but tasted horrible. Oh well.
My crazy Ian at the pool. I guess he didn't want to sink.
Back to School Teacher Breakfast put on by the PTO.
We continued our weekly visit to the splash pad at Celebration Park in Allen.
The total eclipse made cool shadows on the ground out of the leaves.
Sadie had to do her glucose test in the morning, so we went out to breakfast afterwards. The test took longer than expected so it was more like lunchtime but oh well.
Every Wednesday we also went to our friend's pool. It was always a fun day!
First soccer game of the season. Go T-Rexes!
