McKinney Safety Fair

Just yesterday we went to the City of McKinney's Safety fair.  We went last year and it was a lot of fun.  The kids get to look inside police cars, and ambulances, and firetrucks and SWAT vehicles etc.  I pretty sure Ian loves it!!  They also have bounce houses and free hamburgers.  The weather was perfect too.  One of the high school bands even came and played for us.  Ian will make a good drummer some day.  After the fair Sadie and Ian got to play with their cousins the rest of the day.  We even got to play at the park.  It was a great day.

Sadie jumped right onto the police motorcycle.  Ian was quick to get up but he wanted down fast.  I guess fire trucks are more his style.

Here in McKinney they have Mounted Police.  They were there at the fair and Sadie just loves petting those horses.

 Here are the cousins all playing at the park after the fair. It was a bit of a muddy walk over with all of the rain we have been having but they lived.  I think we wore them out.  Sadie and Ian definitely slept well that night.
