We were able to have a nice relaxing Easter this year. We have been so busy house hunting that it was nice to just be at home. Sadie decorated eggs with her dad on Saturday while I did some last minute grocery shopping. She just loves decorating those eggs. Easter morning we had a nice breakfast of cinnamon rolls, eggs, and bacon. Yum! Sadie didn't eat too much because she was of course too excited. She wanted to go find the eggs. Before she looked for the eggs, we told her why we are really celebrating Easter. She loves to hear stories about Jesus. She kept telling me the story all day long. We of course then went to church and came home for a delicious Easter dinner. We had it by ourselves this year instead of with all the family. The family was just all busy this year. We had a pork roast, vegetables, rolls, and potatoes. And of course pie for dessert. It was a lovely day! Here are some pictures from that day.
